Well Pasteur is sometimes called the father of microbiology. He developed pasteurization (keeping wine, milk, etc from spoiling). He also discovered the vaccine for rabies. Among other acheivements.

well if your talkin about biology then Louis discovered life from life when he fund out that flies come from larvae not meat. he tested this by leaving out a bowl of meat uncovered and a bowl of meat that was covered. nothing came out of the covered bowl but larvae was found in the bowl that was uncovered
however man and woman did come from God
