If you like 80's hair band type rock, Stryper is a good one. I used to have an album titled "To Hell With The Devil". It made it pretty high up the charts in the mid to late 80's. This is the only Christian Rock Band that I have ever listened to.

I don't think you can do any better then The Newsboys. Well written and well played songs. If you want to hear some of their best, pick up the CD Shine... The Hits. It is a greatest hits collection released in 2000 and a wonderful listen.
One other that I enjoy is Big Daddy Weave. Their album Fields of Grace from 2003 is really good.

Skillet is GREAT, and sometimes another band performs with them: Willet (willet.com)
They simply ROCK the house. Their new CD is only 5 bucks!! You can get it on the web site. It's called "sometimes a city needs a bomb". Very good question, BTW!
