make some appointments that require you leave that chair. Make some arrnagements to go outside the house with a person you would not be likely to cancel.At least, if nothing else, Drink massive amts of H2o so you'll have to get up to go.
This can't go on forever.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I go back to work on Wednesday, after having been laid off for more than a year. Wooohooo, but I will so miss Y!A. What an addiction.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath and push your chair back. After that, keep your eyes closed, stand up, turn around and walk away. Then turn around, give your computer the middle finger and yell, "**** You! I own myself! You don't own me! I OWN YOU, YOU PLASTIC PIECE OF ****!" Take another deep breath, turn to the exit, and leave. It's that simple.
