In men's tennis, there's Roger Federer up there and the rest of 'em below him. Federer's simply unbeatable anywhere except on clay. But he's at his best on grass so he's a cinch to win Wimbledon. On the distaff side, it's pretty much more competitive. No one's got a foothold in any tournament or in any surface. Henin is always favored to reach the finals but she's got tough competition from everyone else, including Serena, Sharapova, Mauresmo and the talented Russians.

Everybody is wrong about Federer!!!!!!! Nadal will win Wimbledon. Remember last year. 1-1 in sets. 3rd set, Nadal up 5-4 serving for the set. Nadal chokes, Federer ends up winning the 3rd and last sets to win Wimbledon. Nadal was so close to beating Federer. If Nadal won the 3rd set, he would've been up 2-1 and he would've won the match. Nadal has improved a lot and the temperature will have a big effect if the two play each other in the Final. In hot weather, Nadal would win because his shots would penetrate through Federer. If the temperature is cold, then Federer would win because Federer would pound on Nadal's weak shots. If the temperature is in the 80's or 90's Nadal has the edge over Federer. Don't forget how close the match was last year. Nadal will beat Federer in 5 sets.

I think that Federer will once again win Wimbledon, at the moment, he is the king of grass, and I think he can pull it off a couple more times.
On the women's side, however, it's a gamble. Could be Henin, could be Mauresmo, could be Serena Williams. Honestly, it could be anyone in the top 10. There's no real dominant force on the women's side like there is on the men's side with Federer and Nadal.

Federer is a shoe-in to win Wimbledon for a 5th consecutive year, and Henin is the women's favorite, but you never know, because she has lost in 2 Wimbledon finals in the past -- to Venus Williams and Mauresmo, but she looks so much sharper and faster than any other WTA player on tour.

I don't see how anyone can pick against Roger Federer on grass. If the surface stays quick and Roger has the worst day ever, Roddick might be able to pull through.
As for women, I have to like Serena Williams' chances. If Mauresmo hadn't been out for her appendectomy, I'd be a little more bullish about her chances. Sharapova and Henin are certainly threats, and I would be far from shocked if Jankovic at least made the final.

I believe that Roger Federer will win Wimbledon in the men's bracket just because he is unstoppable on the grass.
I also am liking Maria in the women's bracket even thought she has a injured shoulder she has had a chance to rest it and we all know that the clay is not her domain.

Federer will win definitely win wimbledon. most probably also u.s. open later this year and the autralian open again next year. Nadal will then probably beat him at roland garros again.
Nadal: exceptional on clay, good on all the rest.
Federer: exceptional on grass, good on clay, and great on all the rest.
On the women's side, i'd say either henin or serena williams will win wimbledon. sharapova or ivanovic may also win, though their chances are slim.
