This brings Starfleet's "Prime Directive" to mind. And the original "Star Trek" series was supposed to be set only about 200 years in the future.
Consider this: our own galaxy has around 300 billion suns. And we already know that some of the very nearby ones have planets. Thus, it's very likely that planets aren't anomalous in the universe, but rather, are probably very common. And the known universe has hundreds of billions of galaxies, which have hundreds of billions of stars.
Consider: the known universe is probably about 20 billion years old. The earth, only about 1/5 that age. Suppose that millions of stars having even older planets have planets like ours -- or unlike ours, but still able to support some sort of lifeforms. What are the chances that some of those planets might have civilizations a million or more years old? (Remember, a million is only 1/1,000th of a billion. Odds certainly would seem to favor there being a LOT of planets with civilizations a million or more years older than ours.)
SO -- consider this: Just 150 years or so ago, the Industial Revolution in our world was underway, but the electronic revolution was still decades away. Mid-19th-century folks couldn't have even begun to envision jet planes and computers. What will another 100 years bring? 500 years? 1,000 years? Or -- how about a thousand times a thousand years... a million years?
And assuming that we'll have started to explore the universe LONG before then... how will WE study less-advanced worlds? By making ourselves known to them? I'll bet not.
For US, here on earth, to seriously think it likely that we're alone (or even the most advanced, if we're not), requires a HUGE dose of arrogance on our part.
Or living in denial? (It's painful to think that this latter is probably the case for many. Why would ANYONE want to live in denial of that?)
All of that having been said, I truly wish that someday soon, a ship from some 'way-advanced-beyond-ours civilization touches down in New York's Central Park at noontime, and causes all the nay-sayers to eat a BUNCH of humble pie. (And puts an end forever to any possible government cover-ups.)

Well we can never tell if alien do exist but we cannot say they do not exist in the past they said that flying was impossible but today man can fly they can reach the sky so could it be that they(aliens) do exist time can only tell when we will know the scientist of our world is always looking for answers about the mysteries of the world it is only a matter of time when they found out aliens do exist So when we hear this question if they walk among us the first thing that may come in our mind is why do they walk among us? the question now has another question and when we can answer that then we can answer the first question This is only a hypothesis and i do not have proof so please do not react Aliens landed on earth a long time ago seeing man for the first time felt intrigue about humanity that can this beings develop as man progress the aliens studies this being looking and recording there evolution even they do not know where they came from amaze of how they strive to survive as time grew by an they have come in man's side looking and seeing for an opportunity to show themselves to interact We can never say that aliens do or do not exist maybe the great minds of our planet are aliens maybe you are an alien but do not know it maybe we do not really are from this planet only visitor we can never say

I know this is true. But they aren't 'aliens'. They are dinosaur people who evolved deep inside the earth. They are very elite. Maybe only 1-3% of the population. Mostly big business, politics, social movements, and porn stars. They aren't really collecting data on us. Some are, probably students. The ones that can look human are a subspecies of the ones that are too adapted to the pressures of the deep underground to come to the surface. But, then again, their technology is so advanced that they might be able to get around pressure sickness, but not survive and look human. Heck, the Deep Dwellers made us to be their pharmaceutical cattle and industrial base (smelting metals underground isn't always advisable). The Grey 'aliens' and bigfoot are also genetically engineered servants of theirs. They have many subteranean cities around the globe but it would be a mistake to assume they get all along with each other. Some of the surface conflicts mirror antagonism between their city-states. They do have some areas they will always be united in, like organized deception of the human mainstream. When someone asks where they are from, they all point up when the truth is down. There are like 23 different named 'home-worlds' given in the 20 or so abduction or encounter scenarios when they have mentioned it. Most of the ones seen by abductees are highly trained proffesionals. Trying to figure out their culture based on the actions of those is like trying to figure out American culture based solely upon the actions of a Seal Team. Yes, they are among us. The Eastern dragons are nicer to humans. The Western dragons desire to dominate with no care for our welfare. That's why I vote Democrat. If I have to vote for one of the Aristocracy, it'll be a Liberal.

4% of all living humanoids on the planet we call Earth are actually aliens. Haven't you ever heard of Area 51? That's where they set up shop. Most of them are in the government too so they have the most acess to information about us. That's why they are hell bent on keeping what really happend at Roswell under wraps. Bush is actually an alien. He was born nine months after the crash at Area 51. All makes sense now, ehh?

I've thought things like this since i was a child. It's probably not normal or healthy thoughts lol
My biggest fear as a child was aliens coming in to my room and taking me back to the ship at night (because i think it happened when I was little)

I think there are...
Intelegent design by a god or alien species is just as much of a thoery as darwinism.
The bible even says we were made in the creators image so i cant see any reason why they woudlnt they look like us and walk amongst us.

Absolutely not! What an insane idea. You should feel ashamed for even thinking such a thing let alone asking it! Well, as long as I have you here anyway though, would you mind answering a few questions and providing a tissue sample?

Very possibly, we cant be the only intelligent race with all them planets out their. Be a bit scary to find out one of your mates was an alien though, even more weird your partner. Wonder what signs we need to look out for.

I think that people shouldn't be so quick to dismiss your question. A while ago the world was flat. Who knows what things go on that the human mind could never comprehend.
