What was the question and which section?
I ask because I asked a question if Food-Beer, Wine and Spirits about making wine while having athletes foot. It was a joke, but folks there got irate. Why would a silly question get people so angry? I figure just don't answer it if you think it's dumb.

Ya'll please give me the details of some instances. I'm trying to find a pattern. Is it usually due to someone complaining about it?

I think it is always due to someone complaining. I had one removed in Women's Health because I was tacky about fat people. It had to do with fashion tips for fat people, like not buying skin tight clothes that show every roll and bulge, when inexpensive and larger clothes are obviously available. There was more in that vein and I got some hate mail from people who I guess were fat and who wore tight clothes. If the Tshirt splits, wear it!
I was not notified that the question was removed, but I saw that it was. I also had an answer censored because, I guess, someone complained that I used the word masturbation. (Oops! I did it again. Read fast, this answer might not be here long.)
I don't think there is a pattern. I think it is a knee jerk reaction to any complaint, regardless of whether or not the complaint is founded. (I admit I was tacky about fat people, but no tackier than they appear, sometimes.)

Not me.! But, I've been issued with an ASBO - Oops sorry, a contravention become aware of, only for mentioning the seen. All I mentioned was once "Ten facets will cross to the primary proper reply" I acquired a rocket for "facets gaming" some thing that's, and my trivialities query eliminated.!

I had a question on P&S and it said "I'm a banana?"
Wasn't meant to seem sexual... and there have been some really bad questions from people like $mitty that have not been removed. I was pissed, but whatever.
I also had one that was of the normal "hey, going to bed. Leve me something while I'm gone?" ones and it was dleted when i got on in the morning... pissed me off.

I think one out of every 5 of my questions gets removed by the Yaholes.
Someone was so keen to point out to me that it was because I couldn't come up with any intelligent questions.

because they have no freaking life.....
I've had some quite innocuous questions removed. I appealed the violation notice and won, but they darn well didnt re-instate the question....
