If you haven't baked before, use cake mix and canned frosting this time. If you're just tired of mix, and it's a special occasion, homemade is worth the work (but requires some skill!)

Sure why not. If it doesn't come out right the first time, there's always a other attempts. Just make sure to follow the directions and you can go wrong. Good luck

Yes... It is quite easy.. Especially if you use a box mix and use homeade icing... I just finished a blueberry cobbler that did not turn out so hot...
