My kids: Charianna Rose- 5 y/o
Danielle Elizabeth- 2 almost 3 y/o
Caroline Scarlett- (goes by Scarlett) 1 y/o
Anabella Renee- 0 months (twin)
Ansley Grace- 0 months (twin)
Anyway Charianna is in a size 5t or 6 x now and I don't know what stores to buy clothes from. She is very petite. Her friends buy clothes at Limited Too and Abercrombie. I don't think she could fit into those places, I can wear Abercrombie! And then Danielle is in a 4, she gets a lot of Charianna's hand-me-down's, but she has a tom-boy style, that Charianna doesn't have. Charianna is very charming and cute with her little style. Her nick-name is Miss Thang! Anyway, I want some cute outfits to buy them so that they can all match. Oh and Scarlett is in a size 12 months and the twins are in newborn sizes. Thanks!

Good quality, good condition second hand clothing. I'm pregnant with my husband's and my first child, a girl. I'm very happily welcoming second hand clothing. I grew up on it and buy it for me, now. Not just because it's cheap, but because I beleive that it's better economically, ecologically, and socially. Today, my husband came home from church where he serves as the student pastor. He said that the secretary seemed hesitant when she asked if we would take clothes from yard sales. Two bags full of stuff, including a three pack of newborn socks that are still unopened. My mother is happily scouring yard sales for stuff for my baby. She manages rental houses, apartments and storage garages. People default and leave stuff behind. I've gotten stuff from that as well. I've been getting stuff up to nine months (some 12 months if it was really cute) because I don't know how quickly my daughter will grow, or how big she'll be when she's born. (I'm betting not small because I'm feeding her very healtfully and because I was eight pounds at birth and my husband, nine. Yikes.)

Another thing about second hand clothes for children is that they grow out of them in what seems like two weeks. Plus, with all daughters, it will definately be cheap until one of the girls starts to outgrow one of the others. (I'm six inches taller than my "big" sister's 5'6"; I became taller than her in middle school and I think she was in high school.)

I can understand wanting to indulge and encourage your daughter's individual styles and buying them things that are just for them is practically a necessity. It was a wonderful and rare thing when I got something new that was not originally my sister's. It was more appreciated, too, than if I had just constantly gotten new things that were mine whenever I wanted.

Anyway, I hope this helps. Since it's yard sale season, you might be successful in that area. I know people who shop for clothes on eBay, but I'm picky about that. I have to see and feel the clothes and make sure they fit me. There are always thrift stores, Craigslist, and Freecycle as well. (Somebody at church is throwing me a baby shower, so that will also help immensly.)

Anyway, I hope this helps.

Good idea to be planning ahead but it all depends on the size of your child when born. My baby turned 3 months old on Father's Day. She's been in clothing 3-6 months now for at least a month. She is 14 lbs. Prob a little more now. So it just all depends.

ok this is what mi mom did w/me and mi bro. she used to go to gap and buy alot of things for us when there was a sale and would even buy bigger sizes of cloths to wear when we got bigger and older. But since you would like to take your oldest to limited too go ahead! they have petite sizes even though the smallest might be a 7-8? a cheaper option can be rave girl a store VERY simular to limit too. So when u buy cloths try to pick a color that suits everyone such as a teal? and buy sweet little things for yor twins =) and a comfy tomboy outfit for tour 2nd eldest and somethin cute for Caroline and Charianna
by the way luv the names <3 =)

With that many kids, I would try to budget the clothes shopping. Try Wal-mart (and they do have some cute clothes for kids at reasonable prices), or look for sales at the stores like Abercrombie/Limited Too etc for the one(s) that like those.
