From our experiences most of the casinos are casual, especially during the day. In the evening you will see more people dressed a little nicer.
We usually feel underdressed at MGM because we tend to wear tennis shoes or ugs day and night with our jeans. MGM players usally dress up a bit more.
But like others have said, flipflops, sandals, tennis shoes, High heels or hiking boots it really doesn't matter.

I've walked into the casinos and gambled at the tables and slot machines with flip flops. So no there isn't a certain type of shoes you have to wear inside the casino floor. I know you can't walk through the casino barefoot. Its a safety and health issue, other than the casinos, the night clubs, thats a different story.

Ever see Vegas trip? Cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) is in his Daisy Dukes and a Tank suitable. I stay right here in Vegas and definitely see vacationers dressed like that - consisting of the black socks! Sunday on the difficult Rock (seek hardrock rehab), you will see females in a thong bathing healthful playing. I stay right here and my husband and that i pass to the casinos for one element or yet another as quickly as a week. If we are catching a action picture, going to the sportsbook or in basic terms to have a drink - its shorts or denims. yet we've been to black tie affairs on the Bellagio or Wynn. So its all relative. you will see couples in a tux/night gown taking part in craps next to cousin eddie. have exciting.

You can wear what ever you like really, shoes or sneakers are fine. I was there for New Years and there was a real mix of dress styles from shorts and sneakers to really dressy.
Enjoy yourself

The dress code in Vegas is simply make sure you have money in your pocket to spend.
Shorts, T-Shirts, Basketball Vests, Jeans, Trainers, Flip Flops, Sandals are all fine.
You are likely to be sat at a table alongside someone in a suit, dinner jacket, anorak, hoodie, cowboy shirt.

We usually wear shorts, t Shirl, and tennies in most of the casinos. However, when it comes to the more expensive casinos such as Bellagio, I don't know. They have relaxed the dress codes over the years. Casual seems ok.

Casual clothing in Las Vegas would be just fine and yes you do have to wear shoes. Why do you want to go without shoes?
You obviously are over 21 and you want to go without shoes?

Anything. It doesn't really matter. The casino's aren't like they are here in the Uk. They have a kind of seaside slot machine feel to them. I saw people wearing suits, and some wearing shorts and sandals.
