He has at least 12 seasons in him, and if in those twelve seasons he wins 16 games, it'll be 192 career victories.

192+69 current wins= 261 wins.

I think he has himself a legitamate run for the hall of fame.

Only to visit like the rest of us. He is nowhere close to being hall-of-fame material. He has a total of 68 wins and 73 lost and an ERA of 4.34 to this point. These numbers are very average at best and he has only had two winning seasons in his career and has never won more than 12 games in a season. How in the world do you think he can win 16 games each season over the next 12 years?

He's already played 7 seasons (he's out the rest of this one with a torn rotator cuff) and you think he has 12 more left in him. Not likely. I'm curious where you got the idea that he'd be able to win 16 games a year also. He's never won more than 11 in a season and has only finished with a winning record twice (he's a combined 5 games over .500 in those 2 seasons) and is currently 5 games under .500 for his career. There is no chance that he will even be considered to be put on the ballot for the Hall of Fame voting, let alone actually get in. Wake up and sniff reality, he's an average big league pitcher that nobody will remember except for his wife's sexual exploits.

I'd say no unless he starts to muster some back to back 20 win seasons, makes noise in the playoffs I.E. he gets the win in the LCS that advances his team to the world series. Then has a couple of big games in the fall classic. I.E. two wins against what is deemed a "formidable offense."

I watched him as an Oriole last year, and while I believe he could have had a few more wins with better run support than what he got, he didn't come accross to me as the type of pitcher headed for Cooperstown. I've got nothing against the guy, he's a good pitcher (when healthy), but it takes the elite to be in the hall of fame. That being said, if he plays 12 more seasons, that's plenty of time to prove me wrong, but I think at this point Benson has established himself well enough to know what to expect out of him.

No way in hell, well I don't know, with some of the people in the hall, he has a damn good chance. But, seriously. Right now he has a .482 win percentage, no starting pitcher in the Hall has less than a .500 win percentage. BAA is .267, which means hitters have above average success against him. His career ERA is 4.34, which is pretty high. He's never led the league in any category, and his Gray Ink (check out BaseballReference to get an explanation) is 9, the average Hall Of Famer's is 185. His Hall Of Fame standards (also from BaseballReference) is 4, the average Hall Of Famer's is 50.

He's got 69 wins in 7 seasons, and you think he could win 192 more in 12 seasons? I don't see him gettng better with age. He's an average pitcher at best.

If he wins 69 more games in his career, I'll buy you lunch at the hall of fame someday.

Sorry, no. 261 wins doesnt even guarantee Hall status. He is not a "dominant" pitcher by any means. Benson will not get a sniff of Cooperstown!

The guy has to get healthy first. Second, whose to say he'll win 16 for 12 consecutive years. That's a feat in itself. Lets just say if I train hard and get myself prepared for and attend a tryout camp. Scouts see me and they are blown away by my pure talent on the mound, Pirates give me a contract and I go straight to "The Show". I got a good 20 years of playing in me at a competitive level. 20 years of at least 13 wins. That'll be 260 wins. I got a chance RIGHT??? yeah right, as much of a chance as K.Benson. Get real. The only time he'll be in the hall is when he PAYS for a ticket like the rest of us and enjoys what's there
