NO,it is not ok. Most waitresses,or waiters only get paid $2.00 to $3.50 an hour they depend on tips, but if the service is lousy then the tip can be too. You should tip according to how good the service was.*

It's not against the law, but it is ExTREMELY helpful to them. THe waitress would prolly think you were a jerk because their wages suuuck. They like depend on their tips. HOwever, if they suck at waitressing, then you should leave them a SMALL tip and talk to their boss.

no, only if they are abusive or extremely unprofessional. You should always tip the waitress but you should also make sure the tip isn't already included in the bill which is done by many hotel restaurants and othe restaurants in tourist spots.

This is acceptable only if your service was horrible, the wait time was extra slow, or your waitress was impolite. Otherwise, it's good etiquette to at least leave a small token of appreciation!

Is it okay for your employer not to pay you for every day you work? If the service is bad, and you don't feel a tip is deserved, speak to a manager. Then you can not tip. Otherwise, you ought to leave a tip. If you can't afford it, go self-serve fast food.

I tip her if she works for it. I'll tip good, bad or nothing based on her service.

If a gratuity is included on the bill, then I will assume that's all she wants, also.
