What is wrong with Mo'Nique?I'm not on anyone's side (the girls remaining) but I think she went a little far. Actually, all of those girls have morality problems. And Mo'Nique has been around the block herself. I mean there she was, covering her face as Brooke did her thing, like she'd never SEEN such behavior. Yet she'd shake her booty on Showtime at the Apollo, and rub her breasts on men on BET specials!
To call someone a whore on national TV is rather raw.
I just think she went a little too far.
I also think she is a joke as a Charm School hostess.

Anyone agree?

If Mo'nique was such a "lady" herself she would have contained herself and never called any woman that name! She just played into the hands of the producers. Don't you get it!
Oh, I forgot...It's perfectly all right for a woman of color to act the fool. That's how ALL Black women act yes? You forget, Mo'Nique ewelcomes New York---like she's a good 'example for ANY Woman. (A real 'lady' right?)
Well, NONE of those girls are going to be anymore a 'lady' when this is over than Mo'Nique herself. is or ever will be And all of this business about that weaved in redhead asserting herself is just plain bull. She too just showed her true colors.
You can take them out of their environment, but the environment never really leaves. (And those so-called 'men' they chose were a joke also. None of them had anything to offer, except crap.)
Why didn't they act like gentlemen? Because except for the one never chosen, all of them were full of sht also.

I just 'happened' to come across "Charm School" the first time. Then I missed some. But I did see the last episode. I have a myriad of Black friends, male and female. We are all in mid-20's. Most seemed embarassed. One of the females said they "used" Mo'Nique " because she is a "big Black woman" like they use all other Black women. She said the producers "ALWAYS exploit big Black women" -- that everyone "loved Star Jones" until she lost weight. "Everyone loved Oprah," until she lost weight years ago. That everyone "loves fatazzzz female movies" because they paint the picture of ALL Black women having "big saggy breasts and monstrous behinds!" That they even had a "big girl cast as Mo'Nique's daughter on a tv program." So don't tell me that Mo'Nique wasn't used also, because she was. And watch your commercials. Everytime you see a Black woman, she's BIG. And there are a lot of BIG white women also, but they are NOT exploited like Black women!
$ or not, Charm School is a BIG fat joke!

I do believe that it was a bit harsh for Mo to call Brooke a whore, but brooke did exhibit whore like qualities. I know she's a good person inside, but if she could've just tried not to drink so much and be so vulgar then she would've done so much better on this challenge. I also think it was quite rude for Keith to make the "make-up on a pig" comment. But then again, you have to try to see it from the other point of view. Brooke can get a bit out of control when she's had a drink or two. For example, what about the debater episode when all the girls got drunk out of their minds and went crazy? Who was the main one making out with strangers? Brooke. As I said before, it was wrong for Mo to be so blunt about it, but brooke does need to be a little more refined in that area of conduct. Besides that I'd say she's improved herself quite nicely.

First, let me say that Charm School is a joke. It fails on every attempt to really rehabilitate these women and teach them TRUE class, grace and tact. By making it a competition, it shows the true motivation for these women: money.

The "deans" are a joke. That beauty pageant guy? Don't get me started. Mo'nique wants a man whose job is to objectify women and makes them into plastic, Barbie dolls completely devoid of true personality.

Now to answer your question:

I'm a southern girl. Down south we have a phrase we like to use: "If it walks like a duck. Sounds like a duck and walks like one... then it's duck." I don't think Brooke acted like a whore. I rather use the term, ****. At least a whore is smart enough to get something out of the deal. A whore has to have some sense of control and composure, or else she doesn't get paid.

Brooke behaved like a ****: pure and simple. Performing oral sex on the ice sculpture: really classy. I'm sure her parents were basking in the glow of parental pride.

If she was covering her face, it was because as she said, it was out of embarrassment. I would do the same. It's tough watching a train wreck in motion and that's the only way to describe Brooke's behavior.

Also, let's not get it twisted. Mo' nique the stage performer is probably much different from Mo'nique the entertainer. Also, when have you seen her rub her breasts on men? I'm a long-time fan and I've never seen her do that.

In conclusion, the truth hurts. Every word Mo-nique said was true. Brook must not love herself if she continues to think all she has to offer the world is a pair of breasts. She is more than a sex object. That was Mo-nique's point.

No I dont think she went 2 far. First she is the hostess bcuz they needed some1 that wasn't gonna take these girls b.s. secondly u cannot say that Monique has been around the block by watching a B.E.T. special. If u can say that on the internet why cant Mo say on national t.v. that Brooke's behavior was (W)HORRIBLE. I can see little changes in every girl with the exception of Brooke. She acted like a damn fool and I would rather u call me a whore than 4 me 2 actually be1 and Brooke is a whore(not that there is anything wrong with that) if she likes it then I love it

No, I think Mo had the right idea by calling her a whore. Before she even started drinking she was saying and acting Vulgar. Mo speaks the truth and she has since the show begun. I think Mo is doing her best trying to teach these women to be charming and classy, is it working? In some cases Id say yes. Leilene Has grown into a better, stronger women. Becky has become Becky and isnt playing "Buckwild" role anymore. I think all the remaining girls have given it there all and are trying to become more of a lady image. I Love Mo, I think she is real and I think she is doing a great job. Brooke was being a whore and they way she treated leilene I was glad Mo embarrassed her as* and made her feel belittled.

I was with you for a minute but you lost me when you said that all black women act like that. You are absolutely wrong. How would you like it if people assumed that all white women acted like Brooke? If Brooke hadn't have acted like a **** then she wouldn't have been called one and what is worst is that she didn't even she how her behavior made her look like a ****. What women would walk up to every man in a party and ask them if they liked to f*ck or make love (her words not mine). Then she went off in the kitchen with a man she didn't know and got up close and personal. Seemed a little whorish to me. By the way she called her the whore of Charm School. If it walks like a whore, talks like a whore and sounds like a whore then it's a whore. Plain and simple. And I do agree that they should have put more quality men on the episode and less losers but Brooke choose to show her true colors so she shouldn't be upset about being called a whore on national t.v because she put herself out there. Monique didn't make her do it. Her mother should have taught her better (and in case she did) then Brooke should have known better, She acted like a whore so that is what she was called. Sorry that you didn't like it.

I disagree. Brook was called out because her behavior was whoreish. And don't you dare make this into a black and white thing, because it so isn't! Brooke has stayed on as long as she has, not because she's made particular strides, it's because she's been safe. And Mo'Nique has never claimed to be perfect either. When you see her on Apollo, acting a fool - she is doing it for laughs, for entertainment purposes. And she has enough damn sense to keep that mess on the stage where it belongs. Brooke -and all the girls on the show for that matter - are there as their real selves. Which is why on the first episode, their first task was to get rid of the nicknames. Because they hid behind those names and wiled out behind those names. Brooke reverted back into Pumkin and undid everything she was trying to do for herself in this competition - only thing is, she really didn't come that far.

She's too damn immature to actually own up to what she did and admit what she did was wrong. She is way too old to act like that. What she did was no were near charming, it was just trashy and s***ty, and she deserved to go home. And flashing all of america on national television really didn't help her case, which just goes to prove how much of an ignorant w**** she really is. If she just admitted she did act w****ish then I wouldn't be so angry. She didn't even have to say she actually WAS a w****, just to admit that she ACTED like a w**** would be good enough. And then too pick on leilene just makes her look like a punk. Did you notice she didn't say anything to Saaphyri when she spoke to her? That's because she's afraid and she knew if you attacked Leilene she wouldn't try to defend herself or fight back. I'm glad Leilene thought for herself and did the right thing.

i'm sorry she was acting like a whore and i don't think mo went to far at all. she spoke the turth. the point of the show is to change these girls into ladies and to get them to have respect for themselves as well as others. it's not a/b monique or her behavior. mo also has changed her ways since getting married and having her twins. so she is an example of turning your life around, but brooke was just a disgusting pig. i mean come on she was trying to screw every guy she talked to not to mention her basically going down on an ice statue. so imagine what might have happened if she did go somewhere w/one of the guys. she was a complete whore. a whore is a whore. and brooke is one. btw wasn't she supposed to be dating mr. boston from i love ny. i hope not after she taped this show she's a disgrace.

Mo'nique was completely fair. I think that Brooke took it the wrong way and was not willing to except the constructive critism so she put up an argument that forced Mo'nique to punk her. Sorry Brooke but you didn't apply the lesson for the day.

have you seen brooke's behavior? what would you think if you were at a club and saw this crazy girl sucking on an ice sculpture? or yelling that she wants to be naked? or asking some dudes she does not even know if they like to F***? or telling all of america she is not wearing panties? or..well you get the point. she makes herself look like a whore. from flavor of love season one to charm school. i agree thgat monique is the last woman who should be the principal of charm school she does need a few lessons herself, but just remember it is only a reality show no need to get all worked up about it. it is pure, mindless entertainment and that is all it is meant to be. and i love it!!!!!!!!!!!
