What were you in high school? Nerd..Jock? How have you changed since then?

I wasn't cool or a jock. I was too much my own person to play the high school games of who wears what, kiss the jocks toes and having to listen to the "right" music etc. Besides, high school was a flash, just a blink of time, College was where the world begin for me. I'm still careful who my friends are and go my own way most of the time. Guess what, I'm very happy as my own man, even if a large part of the world thinks I've waisted "my talents" Hey, I've done things others only dream of, been places most people will only see in a magazine and written my books, built my house and live where I want. I guess maybe I am cool, it just took the world a while to catch up with me.

Well I didn't care back then and I still don't. Our ten year reunion was last fall. My friends and I skipped it and went on a cruise instead.

I don't understand why everyone makes such a big deal out of high school. Its a scant four years out of your whole life. If it was the best time of your life, how sad is that? High school was okay but college was much better and I like having a career and life of my own. Being judged on the labels of your clothes and having to go to gym class were never my idea of fun.

I was an indie-rocker as a kid. Now I think they're called emo. I still like the same music, but now I like to buy nice things and be comfortable. And I listen to a lot more Jay-Z.

I was nothing. Low man on the totem pole. Hi school was hell for me. I have come to terms with who I am and now have friends who like me for me.
