Being exposed to them in some way is a part of growing up - they are everywhere. Actually using them isn't a part of growing up. It's always a choice.

no it is not and don't let anyone tell you it is. People make their own choices and often it is the wrong one. people try drugs because they want to and they get hook on it because they can't contol it. thus loosing there right to free will. the drugs end up taking over. stay a way. enjoy life. the media will have you fooled to think that a high percentage of peoplem have tried drugs when in reality the majority of people in the world are intelligent and see the outcomes of drug on the idiots that try it so they stay away from drugs. be smart

I am 30 and never have...heck I have never even drank..EVER.
but I know a lot of people that have..and a lot of them did not just try, but ended up sucked in to a lifestyle that no one really wants.
My best friend from college..the one person that I felt was my soul mate...dabbled with pot...and it just spiral-ed down from there.
She is now 30..on probation, her grandparents are raising her 6 year old son. She has no job, no real home, and no ambition...it was all throw away, because she just wanted to "try" something new.
Life is much better with out it. Take it from someone who has seen it from both sides

No, its a bad decision made by people who don't consider what the consequences may be several years down the road.

look, drugs are bad. Don't take them because, first, it could get you arrested, second, why would anyone want to take drugs???
