There's a lot of people that are not reading the question here. The question is, "Who is more talented?" Since the particular talent is not specified, I'm assuming the question is about overall talent. Let's look at the prototypical "five-tool" player.
Hit for average: Pujols probably has A-Rod beat in this category, but not by much.
Hit for power: Pujols has more power, but A-Rod has plenty enough power to reach the seats.
Defense: Definitely A-Rod. Though Pujols is an above-average first baseman, A-Rod has excelled at the two most demanding infield positions.
Arm strength: A-Rod by default. Pujols is a first baseman, so he rarely uses his arm for throwing purposes.
Speed: A-Rod by a mile. Pujols is not Bengie Molina slow, but clearly A-Rod has him beat.
Based on these five categories, I believe that Alex Rodriguez is clearly more talented than Albert Pujols.

Albert Pujols. The better defender of the two he was actually a third baseman in the minors and is only at first because Rolen is there. Pujols was a better defensive third basemen than A-Rod.
Seriously people answer the question that is given. It's "who's more talented" not "who is more proven" or "who has the better career numbers." The only way A-Rod wins is if you consider him a SS in which case he takes it. But at his current position Pujols is the man.

Whoever said A-Rod could steal another 40 bags this year:
What are you on? A-Rod hasn't stolen 40 since '98, which was the only time. Never gotten even close besides that one year.
Pujols: He has the best glove, A-Rod can't play third. Pujols has much better offensive stats, all A-Rod has over him is speed. Pujols by a long shot. Pujols is also several years younger, and performing better than A-Rod ever did in his rookie years.

Pujols because he's a good all around player. ARod is too, but he's having one of his good years. Look at Albert's stats from the last 5 years. They are better than ARod's.

A-Rod. Pujols is a devastating hitter, maybe a little better average-wise now, but in terms of production, it's A-Rod. Pujols is a Gold Glover, but A-Rod was an amazing defensive shortstop and is very good at third, and much better this season. A-Rod could easily steal 40 again, but there is no need for him to in the Yankee lineup.
If you are talking all-around talent, it's A-Rod.

Albert Pujols does not have the experience that A-Rod has, or career numbers. And i would much rather have A-Rod on my team than Albert Pujols, not taking anything from him, but Alex Rodriguez is more talented.

AROD is more talented because he soon will break a lot of records. What ever he does he gives it a 100% and tries to help his team out as much as he can. He is also reaching points in his career where other major league players haven't reached as fast as he has.
