Yes. Try to do something every day to better yourself in a positive way. Saying nice things is a great start and you'll feel better about yourself in the long run while making others feel good about themselves at the same time.

I try to. Especially to my children, for every negative thing I say I try to say at least one if not two positive thing to them.
