2. Mary Ann's was from Horner's Corners Kansas or Winfield Kansas, depending on who you believe for correct information.

I don't know that they ever gave a specific hometown for Gilligan, but he was from Pennsylvania

Ginger was from Hollywood California

The Howell's had homes in Palm Beach, Paris, Newport, New York, Monaco, and all 50 states.

I always thought the Skipper was from Hawaii

Russell Johnson's official website says the professor was from Cleveland Ohio.

4. Mary Ann usually made coconut creme pies...I always wondered what she used for crust...they had no flour. I do remember one episode she made some kind of fish pie and she made the "fish mash" when Gilligan had the explosives in his teeth.

5. They first got off the island when Gilligan found a disc from a spy satellite and The Professor used it to discover the typhoon coming towards the island. They connected their huts together and fixed them to float and were swept out to sea and found by the Coast Guard.

Just a note to the previous poster...The plane was found in the second made for TV movie (The Castaways on Gilligan's Island) In that one they were permanently rescued and the Howell's made a resort out of the island and called it Howell Island.
