i already have the betta the snail and the corys but i want ghost shrimp

oh ya its a 20 gal tank lots of hiding space

It;s possible the betta will see the shrimp as food, especially if you feed him live food from time to time. I would say it would be worth a try though and add a few t see what happens. Several at once would have a far better chance living than just one.

The betta may kill the ghost shrimp. Start with one and see what happens.

get a few ghost shrimp -- they usually do end up food but they are really cheap. before they are food they are fun to have around.

bettas are only threatened by fish with big fins so they should be okay.
