This chick I know is a total dumbass and she keeps arguing with me about this. She says that (in virginia) if a minor and an adult engage in sex more than three times it can be considered consensual. There's no way that can be right, right?

In Virginia, the age of consent is 18.
It does not matter if they have sex more than three times, under the age of 18. The law is the law; the age of consent in VA is 18.

§ 18.2-66 Effect of Subsequent Marriage to Child over 14 Any person who carnally knows a person 14+ with consent of the victim and who subsequently marries the victim and is living with that victim as husband and wife, may so plead as a defense. If court finds these facts true, it must continue the case until the victim reaches 16, if the defendant has not deserted the victim prior to the 16th birthday then the court shall dismiss the case.

She's as dense as a box of rocks, with no offense intended to other decent rocks the planet over. Stat rape has NOTHING to do with consent, since an underage person is not considered capable of giving advised consent. Hence, the term STATUTORY rape.

Just for her information there is no statue of limitations of rape or statutory rape. There is a difference on age though. How old is she and he is the question and anytime you are having sex with someone underage it is illegal. So might as well be ready for jail if charges are pressed.

No...its still statutory rape. It shouldn't be statutory rape, but it still is. IF they get caught. And its not a matter of consent. Even if both people agree to have sex, the older one can get in trouble, whether it's consentual or not. you're friend is wrong.

No. If the girl is under 18 she can not consent to sex with anyone. So 1st time or 15th, the guys gonna go to jail and be registered as a sex offender.
