On the periodic table there is a box for each element. The mass given is a weighted average of all the isotopes.
The symbol for all isotopes is the same.
protons for an element are the atomic number
electrons will be the same number as the protons.
neutrons are found by subtracting the atomic number from the atomic mass.
isotopes differ in their number of neutrons, the rest is the same
