No, it was the act of a coward David Chase, who flipped off all of the fans of the show.

I'm so peed off at the ending I'm still in shock over it. I feel so robbed of 8 years.Yes the Soprano's was great and i didn't miss a show or season but to leave it wide open the way they did is not only unfair to the fans but a deliberate slap in the face. Do i think that they are going to make a movie? I sure hope not because i have had enough of the long year and 1/2 it took just for a new season to start . Now a movie I don't think i could take the waiting or the suspense.

That was no fade to black, some putz just pulled the plug in the middle of one of the best scenes ever. Chase thinks he's being clever, but its just a cheap shot at his paying audience, despite all the characters in the diner leading up to the "end", real or imagined.

I think it's safe to say that either Tony or his son is dead. It would make sense if it's his son because that was the camera perspective when the sister walked in.
If it was Tony, well... there's lot of point turns in this whole mess. Easier to explain the son. ;)

u never know it might pick up in a couple of years from that same scene. No 1 knows except the cast. So ask them.

No, it was the death of any reasonable thought from the writer's minds. It was the ultimate insult to us loyal viewers.
