I went off the pill completely in March and got my period two weeks later, I took two pregnancy tests to verify I wasn't pregnant. It's been two months since then and I still haven't had my period. In April I knew I wasn't pregnant. I had sex about two weeks ago and took a pregnacy a few days ago that came out faintly negative. Could I be pregnant all or is my body still adjusting since I went off the pill?

Over the course of three months of not getting my period, I've taken three pregnancy tests and they all came out negative. sometimes I feel cramps but nothing at all. I used first morning urine when I took the last test. The last one I took the negative line was very faint and not even a deep color but the control window suggested the test was working

I've talked to my friends and they also said since I had lost ten pounds in a short amount of time that my body could be adjusting to the weight loss as well?!

Probably adjusting. It took me 3 years to fall pregnant after being on the pill and having the needle in my arm. I hope you get what you want, in time things will work out. Good Luck

Your body could still be adjusting, but I would re test in about a week if you stil haven't started just to be sure that you didn't test too early. Home tests are only sensitive to a certain level of hormone, and you have to be around 4 weeks or more before they can detect. If you are having other symptoms, and are feeling like you might be pregnant, go to the Doctor's and tell them what's up, they can do a blood test or an ultrasound.

Your body can still be adjusting-in some women it can take up to three months for the pill to totally work its way out the body, during which time your hormones are going bonkers in there trying to figure out whats going on.
The Pill works by "tricking" your body into "thinking" it's already pregnant, making it more or less impossible for an egg to develop in the womb.
If in four to five months you're still not having a period (even if its very light or just one period!) go to see your doctor who'll be able to help you out. But at the moment I'd say you're fine and not to worry too much.

I'm not sure I understand what faintly negative means. Either it's completely negative or it's positive. If you see any line at all (within the time frame), even if it's really faint, then you are pregnant. You could take another HPT with your first urine in the morning when the pregnancy hormone is most concentrated.

You could definitely be pregnant! It might just be too early to tell by a pregnancy test. You would be close to gettting your period now, but my pregnancy test didn't come back positive until I was closer to 4 weeks along. I stopped the pill, got my period the next month and then got pregnant the next month. Just try not to stress, b/c stress may prolong your period coming, and just test again in another week or so. :-)

My period did the same thing, i actually didnt get it for 3 months after i stopped taking the pill. It will be all screwed up for a few months and you may not get it for a couple of months. I suggest using contraceptives if you dont want to be pregnant. I doubt you are

I would go to the doctor because pregnancy tests that you do at home don't always work.
