Flat noses are harder to break compared to long pointy nose.
I heard that it's supposed to protect the nose or something.
I don't really want to have those kinds of noses though.
Sometimes, you can find whites having those kinds of physical features, and there are blacks with physical features similar to that of the whites.
I think it's a matter of where you live.

I've noticed that more darker skinned people have flatter noses and more lighter skinned people have a "European" nose. I'm half Filipino, half Scottish and have a sibling who's the same, but I have the European nose and they have a flatter one. It really varies across different races, though. I guess it depends on your ethnicity and genetics and just the way you're put together.

Long noses evolved in cold climates as a means of warming the air before it reaches the lungs.

People who migrated north developed longer noses for the purpose of heating air moreso when inhaling, being in colder climates.
Peoples closer to the equator did not physiologically need warmer air when inhaling.

i think i read that white ppl have more cartilage in their noses, not sure what the biological reason is. probably something to do with being from warmer climates than white ppl.

What a quesstion. I cannot answer that because I am stuck in the middle. I am both white and black and my nose is not flat. But I guess because black people turn their nose up whenever we read questions like this referring to our race.

This isn't always true...it really depends on ancestry...for instance I'm white, but I have native american ancestors but you would never guess (I'm very very pale) or a black man could have a white ancestor and not even know. This would be able to change their look very slightly.
Ultimately though it comes from where they come from...White people can come from lots of places but most people think european and its probably because its cold and the long slender nose is better for cold windy weather (i.e russia/germany/greenland and so on),
The more 'flat' broader nose is better for hot humid environment, like desert or jungle.
This is kind of an ignorant question but I dont think its really racist if your just curious. There are reasons for everything biologically. Just like if you look Black people are WAY more likely to get sickle cell anima (just as jews/whites/asians have their own diseases) so obviously there is a difference in color, but its just a biological difference, doesn't change or effect person inside.

Long nose is best suited for cold climates.
A flat nose as you call it, is best in hot climates.
This is not always the case though. And you are very ignorant, because Mongolians and Japanese can have these flat noses and they are not Black.

That question will make you sound racist. You should try to research the environmental factors that may cause physiological variations among people living in different regions.
