Both are great games but if you have to choose just one, pick wind waker.

Get Legend of Zelda, Wind Waker. I have played Mario Sunshine and I didn't like playing it. :)

I have played both, and I can say although mario sunshine is funner for the time being, Windwaker will last longer for you. I personally don't like the cell shadedness but its still good. they are both easy games but LOZTWW is longer. It's also nice because there are treasures to find and stuff, and also you go from island to island in a boat o you get a feeling of navigating around the LOZ world.

You can get both for the wii but you'll have to buy the gamecube versions, the discs work in the wii but you'll need gamecube controllers to plug into the wii
