At times I'm as deep as the Great Blue Sea... other days I'm as shallow as the tiny puddle of early morning dew formed in the cactus buds alone in the desert.

Yes I am a deep person.
I see/meet shallow people & wonder if they ever think of consequences, realities & outcomes of their decisions.
Aren't all people capable of thinking deeper than just surface thoughts??? When I met my husband, he taught me so much about giving people the benefit of the doubt, not stereotyping & just being genuine, that I feel I have become a balanced individual.
I hope my friends think the same thing. It is important to me. But I keep it real by knowing that differences is what makes the world go 'round. And that being judgmental is an ugly thing.
I am not quite like what you may think a "deep thinker" is though. I am not introverted. I think about stuff, I wear my heart on my sleeve, I cannot act. I talk about what I think. When I don't have an opportunity to say my 2 cents, it bothers me, but I have enough self-control to know the world does not revolve around me & my thoughts.
All right, I will stop ranting... I just liked the question, ok??!!

Oh, on the link below ... my feelings are identical with JOSH G
I just cannot articulate my thoughts as well as him. He said it perfectly!!!

Sometimes I can be really deep and thoughtful, other times not deep at all. I am in a constant state of change.

I think I'm deep in the respect that I like to weigh the pros and cons of situations and consider all sides of issues before I reach a final conclusion. Although, I can be overly analytical at times, I just think of it as being careful.

I don't consider myself "faux deep", which is when someone just uses a bunch of big words because it makes them feel intellectually superior to others. Faux deep people just love to hear themselves talk, but seldom say anything of substance.

I'm so deep that I need two pits just to contain the massive amounts of deepness I possess.

I consider myself to be a deep person. However, it is impossible to measure one's depth without ever knowing them. In any event, this is all based on opinion more than fact. How you perceive a person is generally how deep you see them as.
