Yes, if their hands weren't clean at the time. Or if they was rough enough to abrade (graze) the skin, especially at the entrance to the urethra. The irritation would be a breeding ground for bacteria.
Better to practice good hygiene with any form of sexual contact, to avoid this reoccurring in the future. And going to the toilet after any form of sex can help lower the chances of a bladder infection.
Also try drinking cranberry juice as well as the meds, as this is a natural method of improving bladder health, normalising the ph levels, and helps to flush out the bacteria there.

Absolutely. If his finger had bacteria on it (which is very very likely) with the motion of his finger the bacteria could make it's way up your uretha into your bladder. I sometimes get bladder infections from sex for the same reason, any little bit of bacteria in the area and I have an infection if I don't urinate after sex to flush out the bacteria. Good luck!

YES! Bacteria from his fingers could have messed up your
vaginas natural ph levels. That infection could have traveled up your ureathra into your bladder causing a nasty UTI(Urinary Tract Infection).
