Well, they're totally different types of parks. Kings Island is a big park like you see the Brady Bunch or the Griswolds get lost in.

Holiday World is much smaller, laid back and family oriented.

KI has many mega rides; HW has more theming and lesser thrill rides, though it does have some world class coasters, many of which are better than most wooden coasters in the world.

KI will coast you an arm and a leg after parking and eating and drinking. HW, parking is free. Soda is free. And food is affordable.

So, it depends on the experience you're looking for, but they're both great parks.

Have a great time!

YES!! You get free unlimited drinks. The food is great. People come even from Britain just to ride the roller coasters at Holiday World. They have won awards(out of entire world) for friendliest employees(9 years in a row) and cleanest park(7 years in a row). Won the Applause Award. In 2006 The Voyage roller coaster opened and won the Best New Ride Golden Ticket Award for 2006. Voyage received the highest ranking EVER for a new wooden coaster, at #2. The Raven and Legend roller coasters also continue to be in the top 10 wooden roller coasters. October 8, 2006, the park broke it's all time record after more than 1 million people came through the park that year. Holiday World has even been featured on the Discovery Channel and The Colbert Report. If you do decide to go to Holiday World, try not to go on June 23, July 21 and 28, August 4 and 11 because they expect those days to be extra busy. Have fun wherever you go.

Holiday World was OK...a nice family park, but to be honest with you, Kings Island blows them out of the water. Much more to offer and yes, it is a little bit more expensive.

Cedar Point beats them both......badly........I have yet to find a park that offers more than Cedar Point. I try to go there at least once a year. Cedar Point is almost impossible to get through in a single day, so if you ever get there, make it a 2-day trip.
