So far, I'd have to go with Parker. Ask again after game 4.

I would hope to see Tony Parker win it but it's highly unlikely because San Antonio's offense and defense revolves around Duncan. Parker and Ginobili are the two generating the offense from the perimeter so the judges may not be able to differentiate much between who's more important to the team's success. Duncan however, is the main man alone on an island in the middle for the Spurs. That would stand out to the officials more.

Even though Tony Parker has scored more points, Duncan has been a monster on defense, assists, etc. Without Duncan, SA would probably lose the series.

Tim all the way.

TIM DUNCAN.

Although Parker has been the leading scorer over the first 2 games, Duncan has been doing a lot more things like rebounding and anchoring the Spurs vaunted interior defense.

He's no slouch in the scoring department either logging 20+ pts in games 1 & 2.

Tony Parker might win the Finals MVP because of fact, as you have stated, he's flashier. no longer basically that, he's enjoying extremely nicely; and, Tim Duncan has been the Finals MVP earlier (thrice, i think of). All issues seen, thus far a minimum of, Duncan is greater deserving of the award. those are their '07 Finals numbers: Parker: 28.5 factors in line with pastime, 4.5 assists, 4 rebounds, a million.5 steals. Duncan: 23.5 factors in line with pastime, 4.5 assists, 13.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks. it is not suitable to me which participant wins the award ... I in basic terms prefer San Antonio to win the championship.
