i thought it was when the allies leveled an entire city, the city of Dresden, Germany in WW2.
Oh now? Modern times? All the cities in South Africa: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town.

There is no killing that is worse than another. Taking life is horrible, and there is no way to distinguish between them. (Although the murder of children has always stuck a cord with me.) As for the most killings, I'm not sure about cities, but places in Africa, currently, and places in Germany and Poland in World War II.
