I feel alive when I notice that life is changing after a feeling of standstill. It doesn't have to be all good, it's the alternation of the moments of joy (like a sunny summer day at the pool, an intimate talk with a friend, reaching an achievement...) and of negative emotions and events (like sadness, lonliness, fear, failure...) which makes me feel alive.

Feeling his body close to mine. Grinding. And I mostly feel alive when i ***. When my vains stick out and my muscles contract and i breathe heavy and I shiver all over.
