Let's see - double digit inflation rate, oil and gas shortages, high energy prices, crappy economy, weak foreign policy, the Iranian hostage crisis, kissing Leonid Brezhnev, the "malaise" speech, turning down our thermostats, seeing a UFO, lusting in his heart, stabbing our current president in the back, blaming America for our ills, nobel peace price, building houses for the poor, overseeing foreign elections, his embarassing brother Billy, saddling us with thousands of tons of highly radioactive nuclear waste by forbidding recycling and reprocessing of it, airline deregulation.

Wow! We have some serious rewrites of history here.

CelticExpress and RKO - The hostages were released because the incoming President Reagan made it very clear that if they weren't released pronto, he would take decisive action. The charges you made about a back-door deal were investigated and found to be without merit. Just another looney left wing conspiracy theory. Nor did Carter give up his re-election bid to try and release them. I remember quite clearly him running very hard. Also Reagan served in the Army Air Corp during WWII.

Jimmy Carter is a man of generous spirit and unbridled humanity. He was, by far, probably the most decent human being ever to occupy the Oval Office in the 20th century.
Mostly he will be remembered for his efforts toward trying to bring peace to the Middle East (unlike our present President, who sees 'war' as the only resolution). I think Carter's greatest moment was when he devoted every waking moment of his Presidency to freeing 444 American hostages from Iran. He literally gave up his run for re-election to concentrate on this heroic effort.
Incoming President Ronald Reagan, of course, took all the credit for the hostages' release when he announced at his Inaugural address that the hostages were on their way home. Only later did we discover that a deal had been struck with Iran: don't let the hostages go until January 20 and we'll provide you with all the armaments you want".
Jimmy Carter is a great and honorable man, unlike most of the immoral, power-thirsty madmen who have occupied the Oval Office over the past century. -RKO- 06/11/07

Inherited a disastrous economy from the spectacularly incompetent Gerald Ford, won the Nobel Peace Prize, historic peace accord between Sadat and Begin (which led to a lasting peace between Israel and Egypt), served in the military in WWII, unlike Reagan.

Reagan, treasonous bastard that he was, cut a deal with the Ayatollah to keep the hostages until after the election. Don't believe me? Google: Iran-Contra about how willing Gipper was to broker deals with terrorists.

Laissez-Faire Guy: Reagan engineered the delayed release of the Iran Hostages, genuflected before terrorists after the Beirut bombing in '83 (there was never any response) and cozied up with murderous insurgents such as the Nicaraguan Contras and the El Salvadoran Regime. He was an effette execrable cowardly fool who "never smelled smoke". My liberal Dem father and uncle were in D-Day, dolt, where was Reagan. Oh yeah, making propaganda films. What a vile lying raggedy-man.

He is big with a program for building homes for the less fortunate. He's also really big in current foreign policy and is often sent as a mediator in tense discussions between foreign powers.

Jimmy Carter is the Anti-Christ! The angel Gabriel told me in Aug. 1973 that Jimmy Carter was the Anti-Christ and that he was going to change his name and divorce his wife!

Obama is the 7th king in Rev. 17:10 and the Anti-Christ was one of the previous 7 and will become the 8th after Obama's death!

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Those 7 kings were all alive in June 2004 when the 5 fallen kings came for a visit to the White House in June 2004 when George W. was in office!
These are those 5 fallen kings.
1. Gerald Ford
2. Jimmy Carter
3. Ronald Reagan
4. George H. W. Bush
5. Bill Clinton

6. George W. Bush (king #6) is referred to here in the present tense!

Obama is King #7 who has not yet come;and when he comth, he must continue a short space.

The Anti-Christ is one of these 7 kings and he will become the 8th king after the death of king #7 who it says in Daniel 11:20 will be a raiser of taxes .

Dan. 11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
Dan. 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
