Hi,
This is like asking ‘do you practice what you preach’ but then again, I do not preach my philosophy because I believe everyone has a right to find their own way in life and only if they ask for help or guidance, do you ‘interfere’. Interfere as in a positive way rather than hindering!! And only by giving sought-for opinions and suggestions, not by dictating.
Anyway, I have my own beliefs and I follow these as my personal truths. I believe in God but cannot explain this other than a feeling as while in this earthly realm, restricted by our senses, there is a limit to what we can fully comprehend. I have distinct values and these values dictate my actions and how I respond to other people. My values are my source of motivation to improve myself spiritually and influence my dealings with others. I believe you should ‘do unto others as you would have them do to you.”
Do I practice my philosophy? A good question. Yes I think I do.

The only thing I can think of is the golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. I'm not sure if this is the type of philosophy you are looking for though... Perhaps, then, Christianity or even atheism are the mcuh-followed philosophies in the US. Worldwide, could be Christianity since it is the major religion with the most followers, I believe, along with Islam, which is fast growing.

Do i practice my philosophy? I would like to know MY philosophy and what it is about instead of being torn between two different things that i might think of as my philosophy. I bet i don't practice any of those anyways.

I want to say that philosophy is like a river constantly changing over time and influences.

I will be honest in that it is hard to follow my own philosophy at times because it is challenged often. Which in turn, brings me to more study and interest going deeper into my own grassroots philosophy.
It all boils down to leaving a good/positive mark on those you come across in life.

I believe I do, though not as well as the Dalai Lama. He's a hard act to follow, don't you think? I believe the trick is to tune the instrument, and then the sounds it makes will sing. But if you focus only on singing the correct notes and lines, sooner or later the instrument will let you down. That's the trouble with following prescriptions - they're external and require work. That's why they don't.

You mean like following the advice we offer to others? No, I've tried, but I just can't. I'm aware that i should follow my own advice and indications since I consider them worthy enough to be followed by others, but... just because I don't follow the things I preach, it doesn't mean i contradict myself. :P It just means that I'm sometimes too unaware to do it.
