Well a brief synopsis is:
This is a musical based on Frank Wedekind's classic play Spring Awakening.
This description is from the press materials:
"Spring Awakening boldly depicts a dozen young people and how they make their way through the thrilling, complicated, confusing and mysterious time of their sexual awakening. Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater’s score features songs that illuminate the urgency of adolescent self-discovery, the burning intensity of teen friendships, and the innate suspicion of the uncomprehending adult world. The story centers around a brilliant young student named Melchior, his troubled friend Moritz, and Wendla, a beautiful young girl on the verge of womanhood."
Wikipedia as others have mentioned does give a bit more detail.

Spring Awakening was said to be this generation's version of "Rent." It deals with similar topics like sex, drugs, homosexuality, and all that fun stuff (: haha Although I must say the stage adaption of Rent kicks the movie's butt, the movie is still really good. You can actually buy the stage version of DVD. It was filmed live on Broadway and is available for purchase. I recommend that version over the movie any day. Hope this helped!

I haven't been able to find one myself, the show's own site has one of the most brief sysnopsis available... You actually get more info by reading the numerous articles available where cast members were interviewed. There are also clips on YouTube.
Good luck!
