Both print and electronic media can be unbiased and others can be biased. It depends upon the owners, the news editors, the journalists writing the story/shooting the story or, it can even vary depending on the country the paper/station is located and the type of government in power.
All the media owned by Murdoch has a right-wing bias. Newspapers in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore (amongst many others) cannot write stories critical of the government.

It's sad that the media puts in their opinions and slants. In the days of Walter Cronkite and Edward Murrow they reported the news on the facts and then let you decide what your opinion is.
Today news reports 99% death, rapes, accidents etc. everything is Negative. They think adding one positive story for 10 seconds at the end of the newscast makes everything ok.

Next time you watch count how many negative, sensationalized and depressing stories in a news cast. It is done because death and violence = ratings

pretty sad.
