My exact apartment in a better location within the complex is being offered for $75 less than what I pay. I just moved in less than 2 months ago.

When I inquired, I was told that unit rented for $675, but the ad says it's $600.

If you have signed a lease, expect to pay what you signed. A rental lease agreement is not like a department store, where you can go and get a refund if the item you bought recently is advertised on sale for less money.

If you had leased a car, would you expect a price reduction on your lease if advertising indicated a better deal was available two months after you leased the car ?

Maybe they were having a hard time renting it so they lowered the price. You can always ask the landlord, just don;t expect that they are going to lower your rent.

Not if you already signed the lease.
