It's pretty small, but it is deemed to be a walk in closet. It's about 6 foot deep by 8 foot wide. My clothes are on one side and his are on the other with a shoe shelf in the middle. He gets the top shoe shelf, and I get all the rest.

Both. It's a large older home.If I had to choose, I'd opt for a walk in closet. They're so roomy.
