Stranded car, car accident or just any type of bad situations

I'm only asking this question because I just finished my psychology paper and this was the topic. 7 out of 10 people say they would've helped but they just thought that someone else had called 911 or pulled over to help.

Well, by law I have to stop and assist in any way,e.g. A couple of months ago I was leaving Stephenville,TX @ 11:45pm with a girls soccer team,and I just get a mile on state Hwy when I notice up ahead a orange flash occurred, I was hoping it was a reflections off of a road sign,but as I came over the hill and low and behold a car engine exploded in a old Volkswagen beetle driving down the Hwy. I stopped and used my on board fire extinguisher to put out the fire.

try to help out especially if I witnessed the car accident-always helps to have a witness!!
