Nothing that a little critical thinking and a lot more kindness couldn't fix.

Im not atheist, I'm agnostic. But I see alot wrong with the world:
Intolerance
Greed
corruption in general
We're all doomed
society is going to hell
Depletion of natural resources
increasing war
religious differences
average IQ dropping every day
we will all be dead in about 100 years or so
political corruption
the line of who can marry and who cant going further and further down
incompetent leaders
talent is becoming less and less valuable
Theres a short list. Enjoy
Edit:
I'm not sure if I believe in hell or not. I'm probably headed there, but whatever.

Too much consumption - beyond the renewable capacity to supply. Global warming. Poverty and exploitation.
But since you ask atheists.... I suppose you mean in another vein..
I would suggest a lack of reason and judgement and accountability. Then on top of that, greed and intolerance.
Also, I do think that the more extreme and ridiculous ends of the mainstream religions are dangerous. To say nothing of the growing tendency to believe in quite bizarre things like crystal healing and whatever the current fad is as endorsed by celebrities.
There are some good things, though.

i do not agree that atheists have any different opinion on the outlook of the world. except maybe they're more realistic about it. you don't know how many people always say, "oh,well i just got divorced, I'm broke, my kids hate me, there's a bunch of wars going on, but that's OK!, ill just pray to Jesus and he'll fix it all". in that sense, they look at it more as, you have a problem, fix it, don't go make Jesus or whatever fix it.
