if I only have periods e once every like 5 months... can my eggs go bad?

I too don't think eggs can go bad at least not until menopausal age. There are tablets available now that assist you in ovulation.Perhaps talk with your GP if you are ttc.

If you only have a period every 5 months that is an indicator that something isn't right. Anything past 40 days is considered anbormal and it could mean you aren't ovulating at all. You should see your doctor. Over time our eggs die or "go bad" whether or not they are being released or used.

As far as I know a females eggs can't go bad...We are after all born with all of the eggs we will ever have...

Nope, not unless you are of advanced maternal age (which is about 35-40 years old).
