I was thinking the other day about our modern convienences and what if you had to choose between a frige or a washing machine what would you choose? I think I would choose the fridge. How bout you?

Fridge. I know how to hand wash clothes and I could just hang them outside to dry.

Tough call.I'd choose a washing machine. I've been without one before, and I didn't like it at all. When we go back packing, a fridge is not part of our gear.Ideally, we could work something out with our neighbors so we could share the appliances.

I would chose fridge. If I needed to wash clothes I could wash them in a river. That's how people in the old times did it!

fridge, because it keeps our food healthy and fresh. Without a washing machine, you would still be able to keep you clothes clean reliably, but without a fridge your food could easily go bad or something like that.

Can wash clothes by hand, but keeping food cold would be a whole lot more trouble!

i would choose a fridge because otherwise all my food would go horrible and warm! besides who needs a washing machine because then you'd have to but powder and liquid.

A refrigerator. You can always find other ways to wash your clothes, but if you live in a warm area, you can't keep your groceries cold.

fridge...you need to keep foods cool, but u could live without washing your clothes...and you could always hand wash clothes anyway.

fridge because you can easily hand wash your clothes... but it would be very hard to keep foods cool that need to be cool...
