There's no major difference between the two except that if your looking for a particular thing, it's on the other side. Example, if your looking for a butterfly on the upper right on the wii, it would be on the upper left on the gamecube. :)

Because of those changes, there are a lot of little differences that make some big differences. Such as with the world mirrored, everything is on the opposite sides (West is East, and East is West) from GameCube to Wii.
The Controller is different, so some actions are different.
Link is Left handed in the Game Cube Game, but is right handed in the Wii. Other then that, the games are the same, and neither has more secrets then the other.

Wii remote and nunchuck. If you wanted to play with a Gamecube controller, you could've saved yourself some money and just bought the Gamecube version straight up since it plays on a Wii.

Nothing except that the whole map is flipped around. So if Kakariko village is on the right of the world in the gamecumbe version, it is on the left in the Wii version. That is all.

The controllers are different and the world is mirrored. That's the only difference. Everything else is exactly the same. I own and have played both of them.
