I personally would choose Zeppelin. It's no contest.
Why?
Because they are awesome musicians. They are all very talented people and put together, they are phenomanal!!!
I just wanted to know who you would choose.
ALSO, it has to be a classic rock band. No earlier than 1990.

I agree with Zeppelin, they're really a great band. I prefer the later stuff like Achilles Last Stand, Fool in the Rain, and No Quarter just because I hear Rock N Roll and Stairway a billion times on the radio but I still love them, plus I have there dvd so I could watch them too.

Bob Dylan. His songs have the most amazing lyrics with elaborate metaphors and allusions. He also plays a variety of styles that makes each album different. EX: The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan and Bringing it All Back Home.
Zeppelin is a great choice though, they would be my 3rd choice behind The Beatles.

They are not my all time favorite, but I would choose Moby Grape. I'm in a psychedelic kind of mood today....

Either Nirvana, Elton John, Black Sabbath when Ozzy was with them, or Led Zeppelin. Yeah! They are INSANE musicians! I love Led Zeppelin to death! Also, their song Kashmir lasts a good 15 minutes, most of their songs are quite lengthy

I'm with you on Zeppelin. They've always been my favorite...and if I had to pick my top 3 Zep songs, they'd be 'How many more times', 'out on the tiles' and 'In my time of dying.' But I'm sure we bothknow that every Zeppelin song is a great song.

Well Black Sabbath is the best classic rock band (to me anyways) so iw ould have to say them. I could so veg out listening to war pigs and Iron man 24/7.

I'd have to agree with Brian, listening to AC/DC just puts a grin on my face. Never get tired of listening to them.
