About the same as a box of rocks. But don't take my word for it:

The non-partisan researchers who evaluated the twelve presidents determined that the six Republican presidents for the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest IQ, at 155. President G. W. Bush was rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91. The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126. The margin of error is plus or minus five percent. This study was initiated on February 13, 2001 and completed on June 17, 2001. This study validated the widespread feeling of people about the sitting president. President Bush was rated low because of his inability to command the English language, his lack of any scholarly achievements, and an absence of anything authored by him that would reflect an intellectual effort." -- "Jennifer Borenstein, Baskerville News Service, 6/28/01"

147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) 132 Harry Truman (D) 122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R) 174 John F. Kennedy (D) 126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D) 155 Richard M. Nixon (R) 121 Gerald Ford (R) 175 James E. Carter (D) 105 Ronald Reagan (R) 099 George HW Bush (R) 182 William J. Clinton (D) 091 George W. Bush (R)

The most used IQ tests give you an 80 if you can write your name.

There's a widespread myth that his IQ is only 91, but it's only a myth.

"no IQ data are available for George W. Bush. But we do know that the young Bush registered a score of 1206 on the SAT"

Based on just that SAT score his IQ would be somewhere around 120.

Somewhere on the same level as a brain dead chimp (no offense to the chimp). I don't know what his IQ level is, honestly. But I would bet a man that makes so mistakes and never learns from them does not have a very high IQ.

He got about 1200 on the sats and some people estimated his iq to be around 140. Not to bad for the guy responsible for saying this: "Wisdom and strength, and my family, is what I'd like for you to pray for."—Washington, D.C., May 2, 2007

apparently people didn't pray hard enough.
Also you get dumber as you get older.

Does he really have one? I thought that was a conspiracy theory.

Seriously, though, does anyone know and can they provide a link? (Not that IQ scores mean much, though. They do not indicate who will or will not succeed in life.) I can't believe it is very high, as he often makes no sense, and he does not relate well to anything or anyone who is not in his "tax bracket." (And those good 'ol boys are pretty dull!) IQ testing is quite complex, and measures many things--and I have yet to see Dubya do or say something that shows he has any conception of abstract thinking.

Bush actually did score better than Kerry in the SATs and while in Yale but that still leaves the question who actually raised his scores while he was out partying in his nomadic days?

His Harvard professor was once quoted saying in an interview with Bush that "he got in because of connections." The same with the National Guard.

You should also see what his Andover master thought of his writing--Bush once used "lacerate" to describe "crying" in his essay
