I am writing a story about a man who works at death row and eventually graduates from Janitor to injector. What would his feelings be like. Please be serious.

Sorry, that's not how it works. A nurse, paramedic, or in some states a doctor sets up the meds, and an anonymous
[ injector ] is hired from outside to start the process.
Suggest you read The Green Mile by Stephen King, and
