I'm considering buying some Dior Homme pants and a jacket on eBay in France. I live in Germany and I know that my suit size here is 46 (medium, I suppose). One of the auctions lists a jacket with "size 46, that's 38 in French sizes". So would this 46 be "my" 46? I think Dior Homme uses Italian sizes as standard.

Also, are sizes for pants and jackets the same? So if I wear a 46 suit, does that mean I also should look for a 46 when buying pants or a jacket separately?

Thanks very much for any info!

Treadstone, thanks for the chart, but that only converts US/UK sizes to "Europe" sizes. French, Italian and German sizes are all different, though, I believe. I'm trying to convert from French and Italian to German sizes...
