My nail cracked a bit from the right of my pointer finger to the left.
Its very small, but I'm afraid after I get a manicure my nail will break, or that my nail will break before I get a manicure. Does the salon do anything to make sure it doesn't break? and is there anything I can do to stimulate its growth or make sure it doesn't break??

they can actually repair it for you at the salon. I did this in high school right before prom. And they did a silk wrap on the nail and then did normal manicure. It costs me extra but it made my nails look great for prom.

Whenever one of my nails starts to break like that, I patch it. I cut a piece of paper from a tea bag and put it on top of the crack, then i cover it with some crazy glue. I've tried different types of paper, and tea bags work the best. I have also tried to use store bought patches (they're little plastic stickers) but they always come off.
Hope this helps.

well first of all u sound like the sky is falling, so breathe its only a nail.

i use clear nail envy stuff that strengthens your nails.

also, since ur going to a nail salon, show them ur nail and explain to them what happened and ask if theres any extra coat they can put on ur nail to help it not split again.

good luck hope your nail gets betta! :)
