Comfortable. I'd live in silence all the time, if only society was a little more forgiving.

Silence is definitely awkward when I'm with someone. It's comfortable when out in nature.

depends on the situation. If you're with someone you love then sometimes there is silence and at that time you just relax and enjoy being with them. But there are times like when you ask for a raise and there is deadening silence, then it's an awkward situation.

sometimes comfortable if im alone and i want some time to myself ... but if im in a crowd of people or in the city and i hear silence .... its very awkward .

It's comfortable when I'm alone but if I'm with someone and it's quiet for an extended period it gets awkward so then I'll say or do something silly to liven things up : )

It can be comfortable if you're with the right people and very awkward if you're with the wrong people or if the situation is tense.
