If your baby is born is with brown eyes most likely they will stay brown. If your child is born with blue, green, or gray (or inbetween those colors) most likely they will change. It could take a few weeks or take up to 9 months

it can take up to a year, they say by the second birthday if eyes have not changed then thats the set color. My son had grey eyes till he was a year then they changed to hazel.

Kids are all different. Usually they change in infancy, but they can change later. My eyes were blue as could be in first grade, but by second grade they were green. My brother's eyes changed when he was five.
