The material is a type of felt. Clean spots with a lightly damp cloth. Do not soak the material. Brush with a pool table brush to remove lint and things that may have fallen on the top (pizza crust and such)

It depends on what you have on it. A commercial carpt cleaner might work for a stain on the felt, if you have slate underneath. Use the upholstery attachment. Otherwise, use a vacuun wand.

depends on the substrate, what's below it... wood is harder, but if it's actual slate, the rock... then scrape that puppy.... have Ideas for the wood, too...
