Best place to go to on a first date?

Where do you usually take your gay date?
Should I invite him to a quiet gay-friendly bar? To a café? To the movies? It's not necessarily someone you love, but someone you just met.

I think you got the perfect idea when you called the cafe. Go to somplace that is comfortable & where you two get to know each other a little better. Look around & see if you can find a cafe where its surrounded by other things to do if you want to walk around & to continue your conversation. I think just hanging out for the first date is the perfect idea. If you go to a movie it's really hard to say that you really got to know someone. If you want to go to a bar I think that is ok, but why not try the cafe first & then go onto the bar from there or wait & do that on the 2nd date if you find one another interesting!

somewhere where its easy to have a conversation and get to know eachother. Try avoiding places like the movies or loud concerts where its makes it hard to talk. I believe a cafe or even a patio bar is nice, not like a dace bar or something. You want your date to pay attention to you not every other person in the place. Good Luck!
